Strong, 73 of South Charleston, died Friday,September 4, 1998 inCommunity Hospital.  He was born October 11, 1924 inEnon, Ohio, the son ofJohn M. and Daisy (Hart) Strong.  He is survived byhis wife of 50 years,Rose (Domanek) Strong; one daughter and son-in-law, Debraand Charles Bolesof Mechanicsburg; one son, Mike Strong and Robin Noel ofSpringfield; threesisters and a brother-in-law, Martha and Paul Remley ofSouth Vienna,Catherine Shockey of Urbana, and Gertrude Hardman ofCalifornia; onegranddaughter, Heidi M. STRONG, 58, living on the Rebert pk, Springfield,Route 8, died at his home Wednesday at 4:30 a.m., of aheart attack. Although he had been in poor health for sometime, he had felt about as usual Tuesday, and had spent apart of the day husking corn. He was a native of ClarkCounty, and had lived in the vicinity of Enon most of hislife. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Daisy STRONG; fivedaughters, Mrs. Elmer WILSON, of Yellow Springs, Mrs.Russell HAYES, of Albuquerque, N. M., Mrs. Frank SHOCKEY,of Catawba, Mrs. Lawrence HARDMAN, of Springfield, and MissMartha STRONG, at home; three sons, John, Robert and Jene,all at home; his father Samuel STRONG, of Springfield; andtwo sisters, Mrs. Bessie MCCORD and Mrs. Iva AYER, both ofSpringfield. One grandchild also survives. Funeral serviceswill be conducted at the Enon M. E. Church at 2:30 p.m.Friday. Burial will be made in the Enon Cemetery. obituary copied from newspaper by Mark Strong
