  	KERSTEN Edward H. Age 75 Of Parchment Passed away on August 13, 2011 at his home. Edward wasborn on November 11, 1935 in Kalamazoo the son of Hermanand Helen (Taylor) Kersten. Edward was a Veteran havingserved in the US Army. He worked for Clausing Industrial,Inc. (formerly the Atlas Press Company) retiring after 36years of service. Edward was a member of the V.F. W. Post5855, the Moose Lodge #88 and the Eagles. He enjoyedgolfing and bowling and loved to sing. He was preceded indeath by his parents and two brothers: William and JohnKersten. Surviving are his wife of 35 years, Shirley(Sanders) Kersten; children: Michael (Dawn) Kersten ofKalamazoo; Brenda (Scott) Savage of Hastings; Richard (Amy)Card of Delton; Terry (Maxine) Card of Marshall and Debra(Robert) Houston of Chester, NJ; ten grandchildren: MelissaSavage; Steven Savage; Bryan Card; Darin Card; Andrea Card;Tyler Card; Courtney Kersten; Lauren Kersten; Jenna Houstonand Jeffrey Houston; four great grandchildren; two sisters:Mary Jo (Bill) Bos of Alaska and Linda (Leo) Craft ofFlorida and several nieces and nephews. Cremation has takenplace. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday,August 16, 2011 from 6-8 PM at PARCHMENT-REDMOND Funeral Home 2300 East G. Ave. 349-7735 Where a Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM onWednesday, August 17, 2011 with Pastor Jim Dykeofficiating. Interment of cremains will follow at 2:00 PMin Ft.
