  	Obit of Francis Eugene Ridenour Yankton Daily Press & Dakotan Friday, August 4, 2006 Francis Ridenour MISSION HILL -- Francis Eugene Ridenour, 77, of Mission Hill, died Aug. 1, 2006, at Yankton Care Center, Yankton. He was born Sept. 10, 1928, at Wakonda, SD, to Samuel Ridenour and Mabel Riggle. He attended Wakonda Schools. He was an electrician for the City of Vermillion from 1942-1969, for the City of Flandreau from 1970-1973 and was employed in Arizona. He was a member of the Moose Lodge, American Legion, and belonged to the fire departments in Vermillion and Flandreau. He served in the military for 26 years. He married Jeannie Gauer on Feb. 14, 1981, in Mesa, Ariz. He is survived by his wife, Jeannie of Mission Hill; sons: Terry (Deanne) of Brainerd, Minn., Vern (Candi) Fischer of Rothschild, Wis., Sam (Linda) Nickel of Hartington, Neb.; daughters: Cheryl (Wayne) Albrechdt of Hutchinson, Minn., Shelli Ridenour, Mission Hill; and special friend, John Veen of Madison; and 10 grandchildren. Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, 2006, at Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home. Burial is in the Bluff View Cemetery, Vermillion. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2006, at Iverson-Siecke Funeral Home with the family present from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Darell.
