RECORDER'S COURT CASES
___________
Daniel Kemple and Oscar Richards Before His Honor
Daniel Kemple, charged with selling liquor to Rush B. Clark, a minor, was arraigned before Judge Browne yesterday afternoon. The following witnesses were sworn. Mrs. Nancy Kemple, Mrs. Julia Clark, Mary Calloway and the defendant. The evidence submitted by the people tended to show that Kemple had knowingly given liquor to young Clark. In his own statement Kemple said he was not intoxicated when he gave the liquor to the lad and thought that he was giving him blackberry wine. The court found that there was probable cause to believe that the accused had committed the offense and on August 24 will bind him over to the September term of the circuit court for trial.
