  Notes	He went to Montana as a young man with his brothers, Earland Sidney and homesteaded near Power, MT.  He wasinducted into WW I from Power, MT and served inFrance.  After the war he sold the ranch in Montanaand returned to Michigan and married.  Leo wasaccidently burned when he was two years old and sufferedextensive burns on his face and hands. He lost the littlefingers on each hand but was an accomplishedmusician.  During the war he was lost from his companyand did not receive any mail from home for theduration.  He consoled himself by playing the violinwith several army bands.  He was able to play anyinstrument even without the use of the two fingers.
