Born at Delta, the daughter of Addison Halladay and Elizabeth Whitmarsh, Mrs. Latimer spent most of her life in the Delta area except for a brief time in Syracuse, N.Y. She was retired for the past 19 years from the Confederated Foods plant in Delta, where she had worked for 30 years as a candy packer. She supported the United Church of Canada and was active in senior citizens' activities. Other interests included cooking and crafts as well as collecting salt and pepper shakers. Mrs. Latimer is survived by a son, William Robert and his wife Dorothy of Philadelphia, Pa., a daughter, Gloria Jean Knowlton and her husband Lawrence, of Seeleys Bay, sisters Eva Dougall of Delta and Patricia Van Bruggen of Windsor. She was predeceased by her husband, William, and a son, Paul, and brothers Noah and Roy. Pallbearers were Robert Latimer, Shawn Ritchie, Mark Knowlton, John Oliver, Maurice Latimer and Dennis Halladay.
