OBITUARY Mary A. Dravenstatt was born in Casnovia, Michigan, August 4, 1858, of Solomon and Elizabeth Dravenstatt. The family, soon after her birth, moved to Maple Corners, then to Chester, finally to Sebewa, where she became acquainted with and married George D. Halladay. The wedding took place July 10, 1887. The happy couple first settled in Mulliken. Two years thereafter they moved to Sebewa, then to Sunfield. Next to Grand Ledge and finally to Sebewa, where they, with their mother, Mrs. Dravenstatt, have since resided. One daughter, Clara, was born to them. Several years ago Mrs Halladay showed signs of failing health. All possible was done to stay the progress of increasing sickness but without avail, until finally on the morning of April 21, 1910, she passed away. Her friends have been constantly at her bedside to render whatever assistance they could but to see her gradually yield to the bitter pain. She was a patient suffer, a good mother, a devoted wife and a firm Christian. The funeral was held from the M. E. church in Sebewa, Sunday, where she was a member, where besides the immediate members of the family-mother, husband, daughter, and brother, Oscar Dravenstatt many friends and relatives were in attendance. Rev. J. W. Buell had charge of the services and was assisted by Rev. C. D. Jarvis.
CARD OF THANKS We wish to thank our friends for their gift of flowers their help and sympathy and the choir for their service in our recent bereavement. Mr. George D. Halladay Mr M. E. Halladay Mr. Oscar Dravenstatt and their families.
