Benjamin William Hanes was born Sept 3rd 1827 in Chester Co Pennsylvania & he married Mary Ann Ray in Carroll Co Ohio in 1803.. Benjamin passed away Aug 11 1900 in Gratiot Co Michigan.. I know Benjamin father is Samuel & Samuel last name may of been spelled Haines instead of Hanes.. But there's a discrepancy who Benjamin's mother is.. Some people say his mother is Catherine Brubaker ?? 1 person said ; That's impossible b/c she has the last will testament from Samuel & Catherine & Benjamin is not mentioned .. Anyone can get disowned or cut out a will, so that doesn't mean squat to me lol I don't know when or where Samuel was born at b/c the free search don't show that info..
