  	DEATH CAME SWIFTLY Charles Halladay, Well Known Mechanic, Expires at his home. Death came suddenly to Charles Halladay this morning at 8:30 o'clock at his home, No. 235 North street. He was in the 63rd year of his age. He was a machinist but be had not been at his work for three weeks on account of illness and frequently he complained of a pain in the region of his heart. He was up as usual this morning, however, and had breakfast with his sister, Mrs. Emily Wright, with whom he lived, but shortly after breakfast he again complained of the pain in the region of his heart and he laid down on the couch. Shortly afterwards he lapsed into unconsciousness and he was dead before Dr. F. H. Parker, who was summoned, could reach him. Coroner O'Neill pronounced death due to heart trouble. Mr. Halladay had lived in Auburn practically all his life and he was highly respected by all who knew him. The funeral arrangements are incomplete.
