PRETTY WEDDING FOR MISS HALLADAY AND A. J. GRIMM
Miss Lewise Halladay, daughter of Mr and Mrs. L. P. Halladay, became the bride of A. J. Grimm of Cleveland, O., Wednesday evening at 6 o'clock in the Halladay home. The ceremony was performed by Rev. C. E. Jenney, pastor of the First Presbyterian
church. Seventy-five guests were present. Mrs. Phillip King, sister
of the bride, was matron of honor and Phillip G. King was best man.
Before the ceremony, Miss Edna Bunn played, and she also played the wedding march from "Lohengrin" and the Mendelssohn wedding march.
The house was attractive in its decorations of smilax, white tulle and
baskets of Columbia roses. A bower of smilax and ferns with tall candles at either side was the setting for the ceremony.
After the ceremony, a wedding dinner was served in the long sun
room, where pink roses and smilax were used. The table was set in a
      U shape.
The bride's gown was ivory brocaded satin with lace and trimmed
with pearls. She brought the material from France, where she served
as a canteen worker during the war. Her tulle veil was caught up
with pearls and she carried a shower bouquet of bride's roses, baby's breath and sweet peas. Miss Constance Murray caught her bouquet. Mrs. King wore a frock of apple green lace over shell pink chiffon. Her bouquet was of Columbia roses and pink sweet peas. She wore silver bandeau of pink rosebuds. Mrs. Halladay, mother of the bride, wore violet satin with black lace and her bouquet was of pink roses and baby's breath.
After the wedding dinner the couple left for a month's wedding
trip to the east and upon their return will live with Mr. and Mrs. Halladay, 1486 West Macon street. Mr. Grimm will be associated with Mr. Halladay in his factory.
