JOHN KEMPLE
John Kemple, aged 64, died at his home, 815 Third street, at 8 o'clock Monday evening as the result of heart failure. Mr. Kemple was taken ill Sunday morning. For the past four years he had been employed by the Michigan Railway company at the car barns on Washington avenue. He leaves his wife, eight children, William, Bernard, Miss Cecelia, Mrs. H. E. McWhirtar, Mrs. William Dimock, Mrs. Edward Stephenson, Mrs. Martin C. Roselip and Mrs. Ray Jones, all of this city, two brothers, Edward and Daniel, and a step-sister, Mrs. Julia Clark. Also, there are a number of grandchildren, three of whom, Robert Clark, Miss Agnes Clark and Miss Guyla Clark, he raised as his own children. Funeral will be held at 9 o'clock Thursday morning from St. Joseph's church. Rev. Fr. R. W. Graces officiating. Burial in Mount Olive cemetery.
