      Strong, Sidney D. III. (Denny) Hemlock, Michigan Passed away Sunday, August 10, 2008, at Covenant-Cooper. Age 45 years. The son of Barbara (Smith) and Sidney Strong was born March 7, 1963 in Saginaw, Michigan. He served with the U.S. Navy, Nuclear Division during Operation Desert Storm. He enjoyed farming, camping and especially his family. Surviving are his parents and two sisters, Denise Siler and her special friend, Eugene Haubenstricker; Vicki Lee Strong; two nieces, Carrie and Jeff Nohel; Holly and Josh Cooper; three nephews, Cameron, Jeffery, Jace; several aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives. Visitation will be held from 1:00-4:00 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2008, at the W.L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel in Merrill. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the Jonesfield-Lakefield Fire and Rescue Unit. www.casefuneralhome.com
