  	Charles Strong Dies; Services to be Tuesday DEGRAFF -- Charles Edward Strong, 86, of DeGraff, former resident of Jackson township, Shelby county, died at 10:30 am Saturday in Mary Rutan Hospital, Bellefontaine.  He had been ill two years and bedfast for four weeks.   Cerebral thrombosis was the cause of death.   Born May 16, 1873 near Covington, O., he was a son of John W. and Selista Karnes Strong.  He moved to Logan county from Jackson township several years ago when he retired from farming.   His wife, the former Lillian Maude Cox, whom he married in 1893, died in 1952.   Survivors are two sons, Oren, of DeGraff, and John of Quincy; two daughters, Mrs. Carl (Carrie) Roby, of Manton, Mich., and Mrs. Marion (Rathia) Moeller, of Medway; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Orpha Sidle, of Jackson Center.   Two daughters, Edna and Lela, preceded him in death.   Rev. A. W. Denlinger will conduct services at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Reeder Funeral Home.  Burial will be in Rea Cemetery, near Bloom Center.   Friends may call at the funeral home.

He had been in failing health two years and was bedfast four weeks. He was hospitalized here on Oct 28. A retired farmer, Mr Strong was born May 16, 1873 near Covington, a son of John W and Selista Carnes Strong.  He moved two years ago from Jackson township, Shelby county, to DeGraff.  His wife, Lillian Maude Cox Strong, to whom he was married in 1893, preceded him in death in 1952. Survivors are two son, Oren Strong, DeGraff, and John Strong, Quincy; two daughters, Mrs Carl (Carrie) Roby, Manton, Mich., and Mrs Marion (Rathia) Moeller, Medway; 23 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and one sister, Mrs Orpha Sidle, Jackson Center.  Two daughters are dead. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 pm at the Reeder Funeral Home in DeGraff in charge of Rev A W Denlinger.  Burial will be made in Rea Cemetery near Bloom Center.
