      Passed away Saturday afternoon. Mr. Strong was born December 11, 1886, in Mendon Mich., son of Levi and Anna Strong. He was a lifelong resident of Kalamazoo County. He was a carpenter and had been engaged in construction. He is survived by his wife Anna A. Strong, Two sons and three daughters, all of Kalamazoo, Edwin E. Strong, Mrs. Letha Baldwin, Mrs. Dorothy Reinbold, Robert B. Strong, and Mrs. Mary Root; two brothers, Levi Jr. and Otto Strong, both of Kalamazoo; 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at the Langeland Memorial Chapel Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock, Dr. Kenneth B. Seeley officiating, with interment in Mendon cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after Sunday noon.

          Two marriages were solemnized yesterday in the county clerk's office, Justice Fred Mills being called in to perform both ceremonies.
          Early in the afternoon George A. Strong and Miss Anna Kemple, both residents of this city, were made man and wife. The groom is a paper-maker.
          Later Roswell George Hubbard, a prosperous young farmer of Texas Township, and Miss maud Clark, of Mattawan, were united in matrimony. The bride carried a bouquet of white roses.
