CHRISTIAN, 90, whose last home was in Salem, Ore., died Friday morning in the Veterans Hospital in Portland, Ore. He was born in Constantine, Feb. 24, 1880, the son of Manford and Maria (SPEARS) CHRISTIAN. Mr. CHRISTIAN moved from Constantine when he was 16 years of age. He was a career Army officer, serving a total of 30 years which included service in the Spanish American War and the First World War. He was a life member of Siloam Lodge No. 35, F&AM. Surviving are one daughter and one son, both in California, and one niece, Mrs. Verna JOHNSON, Kalamazoo. Friends may call at the Geisler Funeral Home in Constantine after 2 p.m. Wednesday. Masonic services will be held in the Constantine Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Charles Hulbert officiating.
