  Notes	Abel worked with his father on the road from Plumhollow to Kingston in 1799 and for that received his 400 acres. Part of it was lot 5/8 Leeds Twp.  By 1813 there were 3 sons & 2 daughters.  His 1st wife died and he married Phoebe.  He had 1100 acres on Stevens Hill east of Delta, lots 18,19, 20 on Con 9.  He was the elder in the Baptist Church, having started the one in Leeds.  He built the 1st brick home in Twp. Stevens Cemetery was taken off his property Lot 19, Con 9.
